Interacitve Web Designer

Job Summary:
.Com Marketing is a full-service interactive advertising agency specializing in helping companies succeed online. Our capabilities range from online consulting, web site design, online media strategy and implementation to search engine marketing and optimization. Since 1997 we have been assisting organizations exceed their online goals through our Internet Marketing expertise. We are looking for a few top-notch web web programmers/designers to help take .Com Marketing and our clients to new levels. The successful candidate develops and manages assigned intranet and internet projects for the agency and its clients. This person should be skilled at conceiving, designing and programming websites that are visually inviting, functional, dynamic, effective, and capable of maintaining the brand image and achieving the strategic goals/objectives set forth in the Interactive Strategic Marketing Plan. This person works with account services, web copywriters and content developers to produce, maintain and update content and design for agency produced and maintained websites. The web designer also produces cutting edge online creative advertisements (banner ads, buttons, email etc.) for assigned online advertising projects based on provided creative briefs. This job function requires some familiarity with rich media and online bandwidth considerations. The web designer should be capable of handling multiple projects, and have strong interpersonal skills. This person should have a well-developed design sensibility and an eye for detail as well as exception web programming skills. The web programmer/designer must be a self-starter and have the ability to think outside of the box. The web designer should have an extensive knowledge of layout and design for the web. With a mind for UI and usability. The ability to code standards based HTML as well as CSS. Knowledge of PHP would be good as well as the ability to manipulate and write Javascript. An understanding of OO programming or working in a LAMP enviroment would be a plus but is not required, as is the ability to implement Joomla and Wordpress.
