.03 Overture Unveils a New Local Search Product
Overture has unveiled a new local search product that will allow advertisers to target consumers by location, rather than by keywords, called Local Match. In addition to offering new ways for consumers to get ads, Overture will also offer Local Match advertisers a free, hosted web page, consisting of their logo and business contact information.

Advertisers will be able to target from a half mile to 100-mile radius, depending on their preferences. The new Local Match will also support any local targeting parameters such as city, zip code, address or IP address. Previously advertisers had to buy keywords that incorporated geographic information, such as "Orlando Real Estate Agents."

"Banner advertising isn't working." "Spam is killing my email marketing efforts." "Search engine marketing is getting too difficult to understand."
