Sabotaging Your Own Website

Congratulations! Someone just landed on your website. Sadly, as quickly as they got there they are heading towards the Back Button. What is it about your site that is turning potential customers away? Well, if your website is guilty of any of the following, you just might have your answer.

Too Many Choices
People like choices, but on a website that can create visual chaos and confusion. Who wants to sift through gobs of info to find what they're looking for? Create a clear hierarchy of information and visitors will respond.

Too Much Stuff

Not surprisingly, visitors won't jump through endless "cyberhoops." Do you force visitors to register prior to viewing content? Prior to purchasing? Doing so only distances your brand from the consumer. Always keep the information your customers seek accessible.
