- Internet advertising exceeded $5.2 billion for the third quarter of 2007 for a total of $15.2 billion through the first three quarters of 2007 - up nearly 26% over the same period in 2006. Source: IAB Internet Advertising Revenue Report.
- Internet advertising leads the pack in growth for 2008 - projected up 16.5% (excluding paid search and broadband video) for a total of $12.733 billion; the nearest rival (cable TV networks) will grow at less than half that rate (6.1%). Source: Advertising Age
