BRIEF
Grand Theme Hotels has five themed properties in Orlando, Florida, one in Savannah, Georgia and one in St. Augustine, Florida. All the properties are unique in that they all have a theme. Grand Theme Hotels came to .Com Marketing in 1998 to help them generate hotel bookings from their Web site.
CHALLENGE
To drive qualified vacationers to grandthemehotels.com to book a hotel room instead of reaching the over 400 other hotels in Orlando, Florida.
PROCESS
.Com Marketing started by guiding Grand Theme Hotels with a Web site critique. Knowing that much more traffic would be driven to their site as a result of the campaign, .Com Marketing wanted to be sure the site was ready and built to convert visitors to buyers. An online marketing plan was devised, presented, approved, implemented, tracked and optimized.
RESULTS
From January 1, 2001 to December 31, 2001, Grand Theme Hotels saw a 15 to 1 return on their investment. They renewed the campaign 100% and added 15% more marketing dollars to their online budget.
