Experts2Alaska Program Successes for 2004
HISTORY
Signature Travel Network came to .Com Marketing in late 2003 for help in building a new website for their Experts2Alaska site. They eventually chose .Com Marketing as their search engine partners. Work was started. The site specializes in cruises to Alaska.
PROCESS
Since the partnership between .Com Marketing and Signature Travel Network, the Experts2Alaska site has undergone some major changes. A brand new website was deployed and leaps in position on the search engines were seen due to site traffic through paid inclusion, pay per click listings, and an overall branding push through various online media efforts. A new Vacation page and Hot Offers page were finished as well a full media campaign this past spring and fall. Metatags and a comprehensive site map were also completed at the end of 2004.
RESULTS
Through the paid inclusion program, the site has seen a definite rise in traffic. The paid inclusion listings from .Com Marketing have driven 7,867 clicks since the program began in March 2004. The site was re-evaluated in July 2004, and new feeds were submitted to the engines on the new pages of the site which increased the traffic flow even more.
Through .Com Marketing’s pay per click campaign for Experts2Alaska, 14,238 clicks have been driven to the site in the months of February, March, April, May, and September.
In conclusion, since October 21, 2004, the number of urls indexed in the engines has skyrocketed from approximately 300 pages indexed to over 1,000 now. This is partly due to .Com Marketing’s programs, and search engine recommendations.
